Initial r blends (fr, pr, tr, dr, gr, cr, str, spr, scr, thr, shr) reading game. The game is set up like the traditional card game Old Maid, but instead of an old maid, there is a GREMLIN card. It is quick and easy to set up and can be played with 2-6 players.

• Two decks (of 45 cards each) that you can choose from to use. One deck is for one-syllable words, and the other deck is for two-syllable words. 

• Also included are two reading assessments (one for 1 syllable words and one for 2 syllable words) if you'd like to assess how well your students are accurately reading words with beginning r blends. It includes a sheet with the words for the student to read from and a recording sheet for the teacher.
